When Lu Ye launched her real estate career, she had already gained recognition as a professional pianist and composer. If the change of direction seemed surprising to her audience, there are, in fact, many parallels between music and real estate. Both require extraordinary listening skills, diligent attention to detail, and powerful focus. Success demands the ability to work in concert with others, and a passion for the material – whether it’s an instrument, a score, or a luxury property.

Born and raised in China, where her family was involved in investment, Lu Ye came to the U.S. to earn her Master’s degree in music. Fully at home in the business world, she soon had her own music company. As she composed soundtracks for television and gaming, she met and worked with producers and developers whose striking homes sparked her interest in real estate.

Merging her two professions, Lu applied herself to real estate with the same work ethic, dedication, and attentive style that made her a fine pianist. With years of experience and an expansive local and international community of clients, Lu was an executive member in the #1 ranked Joyce Rey Team in Beverly Hills and has been honored with the Society of Excellence Award two years in a row. After establishing herself as a successful member of a highly productive team, Lu moved on to Compass where she continues to grow her already expansive resume through service to her wonderful clients.
